Kits, workshops, trade and projects from one Sussex farm.

Everything starts at Applesham Farm, where our mushrooms are grown in a controlled room in the barn.

Service 01

Grow-at-home kits

Kits for growing mushrooms at home, indoors or outdoors, handcrafted in small batches on the farm. Our boxed kits contain ready-to-mix hardwood pellets, full growing instructions and a unique code to redeem fresh mushroom spawn. We also offer mushroom log kits and ready-to-grow kits.

Varieties we have offered include Grey, Pink, Pale and Tarragon Oyster, Coral Tooth, Lion’s Mane and Shiitake. The range changes, so check the shop for what is currently available.

Service 02

Workshops and masterclasses

Jodie and Lorraine run regular mushroom-growing workshops in person and online, and seasonal masterclasses, to show how simple growing mushrooms can be. Dates and booking details change through the year, so get in touch to ask what is coming up.
